We’re gearing up for our Indigenous People’s Day Gala. This year as we continue to be aware of our need to allow our communities to heal and be safe, we will be offering you a unique opportunity to join with us as we celebrate together virtually at our 2020 Virtual Gala Fundraiser for Indigenous People Day on October 10th 2020.

The theme of this year’s gala is inspired by the legacy of our ancestors who lift us up through their example of “RESILIENCE” and the next generation of Duwamish  who will lead into the future by the determination and RESILENCE of the Duwamish people.     We are S    w    ə    l    ə    x̌    ʷ .

Your participation in the 2020 Duwamish “ Resilience” Gala Celebration will support Duwamish Tribal Services with the operation of the Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center, a public use facility that is open free to the public and hosts numerous community educational, ecological, historical and cultural events that celebrate the history of the aboriginal Duwamish Tribe.
